Peppers are the black pepper tree’s berries, plant known scientifically as Piper Nigrum. The plant is composed of evergreen climbing creepers, taking trees of the malagasian tropical forest as a tutor. Madagascar’s peppers are traditionally cultivated, without treatment or chemical fertilizers. Peppers come from family plantations on the East coast of the Island. They are handpicked and sorted. Madagascar’s peppers are known for their gustatory qualities and for their peculiar taste due to the lateritic soil (red ground), the hot and humid climate and the sea air.
Peppers properties : Green or black, pepper facilitates the intestinal transit, helps digestion and contains a large amount of iron and antioxidants. It also has an antibacterial action on the digestive system.
