Black pepper is characterized by its little and crumpled grain, it is extremely aromatic. Berries from the black pepper tree are harvested when the first fruits are becoming red. After the harvest, berries are ripening in a fresh and dry place, so that they are slowly dyed black and start to ferment. At last, berries become seeds after being sun-dried, thus the flavors contained in each seed are more concentrated. Madagascar’s pepper is prized by food lovers because of it’s strong aroma.
